The bound guy. :’D I guess what I like about it the most is that it requires good party synergy. It is pretty much impossible to do when others don’t know what to do or do not pay attention to the rest of the party and what they’re doing. And when you free the titan and he bows to you… it’s somehow very satisfying.

If by “naive sapling” is meant: “exagerated blue-eyed close to too stupid to breathe on his own or pull down pants before taking a shit”…

..then there’s only one option left I could match to one my two sylvari, which is “redemption story” and that’s the part I don’t get.
Can somebody explain it to me?

Redemption story would probably be about the sylvari in question redeeming themselves/their close ones from falling into Nightmare.

Can somebody explain to me the thing about tea though? o___o

And… poisonvari? .___.

Also, I, um. Despite having four sylvari I was only able to match “plant as part of name” to Euryale (latin name for foxnut, which is type of water lily), and “nightbloom” to Ranmyria because, well, I had all other cycles by then. I always sucked at bingo?

The tea cliche is (I imagine) because sylvari sound vaguely British and are also very chivalrous/courtly.

Poisonvari is a poisonous sylvari!

I’m kind of sad to not see a “Soundless” square on here now that I think about it.

Redemption story was in regards to Sylvari who already went Nightmare that… magically become Dreamers again. Yes, you read that. We see it a lot.

We didn’t include Soundless since we discussed that we really don’t see a ton of them, and if we are too, they usually are well done (or too boring) to fuss with giggling about.

.__. Sheesh. Way to disregard all things canonical.

Thanks for clearing those up! :)

And, uh… now I am tempted to make a sylvari that would have all the cliches… all of the cliches.

I don’t have one. ._. I am rather familar with Twilight Arbor I guess? Do Fractals count? What makes exploring dungeons enjoyable for me is the people I go with. I am quite capable of enjoying wiping on Giganticus Lupicus for two hours straight if I have people to talk with during.

I love that new back skin (seriously, perfect for sylvari) and want to use it on my main, but it clips horribly with her bow and that makes me sad. :/

Pfffffffrrrrrtttttt. I have played this game since launch, do you really expect me to keep track of all my achievs. Well you are allowed to but I don’t, so there. The one achievement I am rather proud of is The Floor Is Lava. Don’t Step In It. It took me some four or five tries until I finally managed to get it.

Monument reward chest, Conjurer pants, god shoes

T1 except for the Twilight Arbor chest

Citadel of Flame chest, Monument reward pants and god shoes, gloves and shoulders

exotic acolyte set, which is just about the only armor that I like in both male and female version

Basically any of the warden weapons (sylvari cultural tier 3), also mystical spikes (mystic forge daggers). There are others, the monument staff skin, the wintersday toy staff skin, Bow of the White Hart/Bow of the Pale Stag… like I said, there are others. Basically if it is elegant and/or simple design, I like it.

PvE and RP. I actually RP a lot, but only with people I know. Which, at the moment, is just my lovely Silarcta. XD

I have grown to enjoy wvw when a good offensive is going on/a group of people ninjas camps and towers for a bit, but I am no hardcore slayer of invaders, and neither am I a PvPer. I am, quite honestly, dead terrified of PvP. I do not have the necessary mindset for it and neither do I want to have it.

30 Day Guild Wars 2 Challenge: Day 07 — Your favorite piece of lore?

The writing on Setta Trueblade’s statue in Eir’s home instance. It mentions she hunts the “mesmer Blackheart” for slaying her love. My gw1 mesmer is named Melissan Blackheart, and I came across this while mapping with her descendant and my gw2 necromancer, Melissan Blackheart. XD It amused me greatly at the time and it still brings a smile on my face.

However if I had to pick only from the big chunks of lore… I would probably never choose. I appreciate anything that ties up the two games together.
